My girlfriend and I tried the Cooking Class coming from Denmark. We were both amazed by the techniques, the storytelling and conversation from the Cooking Class. This is something that we can definitely recommend to others who want to have a close and authentic experience with the Indian cuisine.

I had such a wonderful time with Shobha and her lovely family! From the moment I arrived, Shobha made me feel completely at home with her warmth and hospitality. She loves sharing stories about her life in India and her passion for cooking, which made the whole experience even more special.
We prepared lauki kofta curry, cumin rice, chapati and raita — everything was absolutely delicious! We ended up chatting so much that the class ran a bit longer than planned, but honestly, that made it even more fun.
After dinner, Shobha and her husband Shwetank even kindly dropped me back at my hotel since it had gotten quite late — which was such a thoughtful gesture!
I highly recommend the cooking class with Shobha to anyone looking for a truly authentic and fun experience in Varanasi :)

Highly recommend this cooking class with Shobha. It's very authentic and fun experience. You have a chance to learn how to cook local food in her kitcken and then share a meal together. Dishes were easy to prepare, so I can cook them when back home. Shobha makes her own spice mixes and they are amaizing!!! I got some from her to take home.
Great for everyone who wants an authentic experience in Varanasi away from crowds.

Had a great time cooking the dhal with Shobha who taught us also how to prepare paratha and use many spices, even including new ones like hing. Thanks a lot for the lovely family atmosphere.

Yum yum! Heartily recommend this fabulous experience cooking with Shobha at her place! Her husband came to pick us up, and we enjoyed the whole time spent together with the entire family in this calm area, giving us a peaceful break from the noise in Varanasi. The class taught us some basics of cooking, the right amount of spices, the right movements and tools to cook well some dhal, mixed vegs, jeera rice and parathas. Result was delicious!! Shobha is very patient and very charming to be around, we could communicate very well, about cooking and beyond. Wishing this family a lot of success in their tours and courses, and will recommend to traveling friends. धन्यवाद!
